Techniques Class- Please give me a call if you are interested in fine tuning your fusing skills and learning more about: frit, glass powders, fused mosaics, glass line paints. This process driven class is being offered again due to popular demand… The cost and duration is $100 for five or six hours of fun and learning some new techniques. You will create four 4×4 tiles during the  first session, the following session you will create a larger piece (up to 100 square inches) using your new techniques! Both sessions will be on Wednesday this time (1/18/2012) from noon until 6pm. I’ll provide snacks!

Workshop Wednesdays – due to popular demand one Wednesday per month Open Studio will close and become a workshop where we can explore, learn some new techniques and offer classes.

February 15th 2012 – Wonderful Weaves – this month we will focus on a three fun ways to make woven glass!

10-12 Striped Woven Plate $40 (8×8) – $50 (10×10)

1-5pm Stringer Weaves – build your own 8×8 stringer woven plate or vase $75

6-8pm Irid Weave  – Make two 6×6 inch weaves to drape or slump into vase or plates $45

Coasters – Saturday, February 4th 2012    1pm-3pm

Make your own set of fused glass coasters in this fun two-hour workshop. Students will experiment with various types of sheet glass, vitrigraph, and frit to design and their own coaster set.
