KDD Fused Glass

Preview Reception on Friday, June 24, 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday, June 25th and 26th 10am-5pm
The Lincoln Center will present the Fort Collins Studio Tour – a free self-guided tour of artist studios in and around Fort Collins – June 25 &26, 2011. Visit the Preview Eshibition at ArtLab (239 Linden St.) to view artwork from each artist on the tour, and join us there for the Preview Reception on Friday, June 24th, 5-8pm.
Brochures and maps to eht studios are free and will be available starting mid-May at the Senior Center, Northside Aztlan, Poudre River District Library branches, and at ArtLab.

You are invited Monday, October 18th to come together in the Glass Studio with other glass artists to make a patch for our Glass Quilt contribution for the Cross Roads 30th Anniversary Gala! This a no charge activity that takes place from 6-8pm in my home studio. Please come enjoy an adult beverage and light hors d’œuvres.

Techniques Class – home studio – fine tune your fusing skills and learning more about: frit, glass powders, fused mosaics, and Glassline paints.. This process driven class is being offered again due to popular demand… The cost and duration is $80 for six hours or so of fun and learning some new techniques. You will create four 4×4 tiles during the  first 3 hour session, the following session you will create a larger piece (approximately 8×8) using your new techniques! Please call or email to reserve your spot and let me know which session works best for you!

Explore the art of glass fusion with this fun sample type class appropriate for adults and kids alike! Kids under 10 years old please bring your adult:>  In this class you will create a: suncatcher, a nightlight and a dessert sized dish. $30 Reserve you spot soon as this class fills quickly and class size is limited.

ARTICULTURE: A Celebration of Art in the Garden – Opens to the public on Friday, June 18

The spectacular sculptures of several regional artisits will enrich the Gradens and inspire you to consider how art can enhance your own garden. Sculptures will be displayed throughout The Gardens from June 18-December 31st 2010.
